论文讨论了由美国心理人类学家许烺光提出的一个研究大规模文明社会的新范式———“基本人际状态”，并讨论了日本学者滨口惠俊( Hamakuchi eshun)提出的“间人”概念：用于指称相对于西方社会“个人”的中国人和日本人的基本人际状态。笔者进一步提出，中国人的基本人际状态是“伦人”，日本社会的基本人际状态是“缘人”，它们是“间人”的两种亚类型。

Abstract

The dissertation put forward a new paradigm on studying the large-scale civil societes—“the human constant” ( jen, human being, in Chinese) ,which is proposed by Framcis L. K. Hsu,a hsychal Anthropol-ogist of America. Author discussed also the concept “the contextual”which raised by Japanese scholar Hamakuchi Eshun, pointing out that it is the human constant in China and Japan society, which is corresponding to“the individual” in western society. Meanwhile, the author further put for-ward that for Chinese the human constant is “lun-jen”, and for Japanese is “yuan-jen”, two sub-types in “the contextual”.
